Artificial Intelligence in the Vehicle Service Contract Ecosystem

Automating Claims Integrity, Sales Oversight, and Underwriting IntelligenceA White Paper on AI-Enabled Automation for Vehicle Service Contracts and Ancillary Products

Executive Summary

The U.S. vehicle service contract (VSC) market is a significant segment of a global market valued at up to $90 billion in 2026 and growing.   This market sits within the U.S. automotive F&I industry, which generates over $40 billion in annual dealer revenue, with a significant portion coming from service contracts. This is a high-volume business built on a long, multi-party chain, including dealer or agent sales, provider underwriting, third-party administration, and a distributed network of dealer and independent repair facilities that adjudicate claims. That structure creates exactly the conditions where artificial intelligence delivers outsized value — large transaction volumes, repeatable decision patterns, and a persistent information gap between what field-level data shows and what actually reaches executives.

AI Dealer Agent Conference Set for September With Warranty News as Media Partner

AIDAC 2026 kicks off September 9 in Midtown Atlanta, offering dealer agents an opportunity to become AI experts and broker new partnerships with F&I and tech providers.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ATLANTA — The inaugural AI Dealer Agent Conference will be held Sept. 9–11, 2026, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Midtown Atlanta, offering a full slate of training and networking opportunities for innovative dealer agents.

The event is hosted by ACE B2B in partnership with Dealer Agent News, AI Dealer News and Warranty News and sponsored by F&I and dealership technology providers. Agents will enjoy an agenda that features keynote addresses, a panel discussion and a series of workshops agents can attend to earn ACE AI Agent certification onsite.

DAN and AID publisher Tariq Kamal urged agents to register by August 9 to take advantage of early-bird pricing and secure a room in the event’s discounted block. Attendees will be entered into a drawing for a VIP college football giveaway that includes tickets and chauffeured transportation to the Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee game on Sept. 12 as well as an extended hotel stay.

“AIDAC was built for agents who see the potential AI brings to F&I, the entire dealership enterprise and, of course, agency operations, reporting, prospecting and growth,” Kamal said. “The agents and executives who register are all telling us the same thing: We can’t wait to get started.”

The California AB 2905 Trap: Why Mandatory AI Disclosures Are Driving a 40% Hang-Up Rate for ‘Full Bot’ Receptionists

California AB 2905 Forces a Choice: Lose the Lead or Break the Law

A homeowner calls about a $6,000 HVAC system replacement. The first thing they hear: “This call is handled by an artificial intelligence system.” They hang up. That is not a UX problem you can A/B test your way out of. Under California AB 2905, that disclaimer is a legal requirement — and it fires in the first three seconds of every covered call. AI voice agent compliance is no longer optional. For operators running full-bot inbound stacks in California, the law has already created a binary trap: comply and absorb the booking-rate damage, or skip the disclosure and face criminal liability.
