Detroit, MI — MAPconnected, the leading peer network for service and warranty professionals, announced its upcoming virtual roundtable:
“Improving Warranty Coverage Accuracy: Events That Determine Warrantability”, scheduled for August 14, 2025.
As a follow-up to a previously commissioned July survey by a leading MAPconnected OEM member, this exclusive session will dive deeper into insights from warranty, service, and diagnostics leaders on enhancing the consistency and accuracy of warranty coverage decisions. The agenda will explore how OEMs are leveraging technology and operational benchmarks to detect emissions tampering, flag incomplete or unauthorized repairs, and clarify how dealers access key eligibility data—including warranty start dates, recall status, and service contract details.

Facilitated by MAPconnected, the round robin will bring survey participants together to review results, benchmark peer practices, and discuss next steps for implementing automation and system enhancements to reduce coverage ambiguity.
This session is part of MAPconnected’s ongoing effort to address the root causes of warranty-related inefficiencies and to equip OEMs and suppliers with actionable insight for lifecycle improvement.
The event is open to MAPconnected members and contributors to the survey initiative. Additional in-person opportunities to expand the discussion will take place at the Vehicle Service & Warranty Lifecycle Summit, scheduled for October 20–23, 2025, in Detroit, MI.
