Marcone Servicers Association Hosts Industry-Leading Convention

Hundreds of repair professionals gain expertise, make connections

St. Louis, MO (April 8, 2025) – More than 700 industry professionals recently gathered in Las Vegas for the 2025 MSA Convention, featuring three days of development aimed at boosting business success.

After a nine-year hiatus that included the Covid pandemic, the Marcone Servicers Association Convention returned this year to great acclaim. MSA 2025 was a three-day event held at the Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel in March.

Attendees enjoyed their choice of more than 70 technical and business classes, ranging from technical advice offered by the experts at manufacturers such as GE and Whirlpool to business tips provided by industry leaders such as Asurion and SkillsUSA. They also connected with a range of resources during a vendor fair featuring more than 50 booths.

“As a distributor, customers rely on us to have the products they need, when and where they need them,” said Asterios Satrazemis, Chief Executive Officer of mSupply, which operates MSA. “To us, providing quality customer service means going beyond that. It includes the training, development and industry connections that will help elevate their business to the next level.”

During the convention, attendees heard from keynote speaker Frank Abagnale, the man portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie, “Catch Me If You Can.” Now an FBI consultant, Abagnale offered insights on cybersecurity and how to protect a business from financial crimes. They also were given a glimpse into the future from Dr. Mark Hatch, who shared his forward-focused vision for how artificial intelligence will change the business landscape in the years to come.

Other speakers included mSupply Chief Commercial Officer Phil Mause, who addressed overcoming challenges within the repair industry. Satrazemis also addressed convention-goers, discussing the corporate rebranding efforts for the parent company, now called mSupply, while retaining the Marcone name for its appliance and commercial kitchen verticals.

MSA also presented its first Lifetime Achievement Award to longtime appliance repair trainer Rick Kuemin. For the past 14 years, Kuemin has traveled throughout North America to present more than 100 specialty training sessions each year. After teaching an estimated 35,000 technicians over the course of his career, Kuemin retired in January.
