Lithia Motors 3rd Quarter Saw F&I Growth
October 30, 2014 – Lithia Motors, Inc. reported the highest third quarter adjusted net income in Company history. F&I per vehicle was $1,202 compared to $1,105 last year. Lithia reported on its earnings call that of the vehicles they sold in the quarter they sold a service contract on 43% and sold lifetime oil product on 36%.

GM 2014 Recalls Now Total Over 30 Million Vehicles
With GM issuing 75 recalls this year the automaker has now recalled 30,011,637 vehicles worldwide with 26,502,668 of the total in the US. For perspective, GM recently reported it sold 2,449,595 vehicles around the world in the third quarter of 2014.
